Mel Tunbridge is a remarkable individual who balances her roles as an ultra runner, executive, and mother with grace and determination.

As an ultra runner, Mel has achieved impressive feats in various ultra-trail and desert located events. She has consistently demonstrated her endurance and skill, including a notable finish in the Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko by UTMB 2022. Her dedication to the sport is evident through her strong performances and her UTMB® Index, which reflects her hard work and passion for ultra running

In addition to her athletic achievements, Mel is a successful executive. She is the Faculty Executive Director of the number one Business School in Australia at the University of NSW (UNSW) and is often seen running to and from the Randwick campus on her daily commute.
As a Mum of 2 young girls it’s important to demonstrate to them it’s cool to do hard stuff and to throw themselves into their own challenges. With notable achievements of their own, its clear to see Heidi and Eloise embracing this lifestyle and mantra. They are often seen on the sidelines and finish line of many of Mel’s races.

Mel remains resilient, using her experiences to fuel her passion for helping others and her partnership with the charity Wings4Kidz is no exception. Her ability to juggle her professional responsibilities, athletic pursuits, and family life is a testament to her strength and determination.
Mel Tunbridge's story is one of perseverance, leadership, and inspiration. She continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many, both through her athletic achievements and her dedication to empowering others.
